Credit Suisse is one of the most recognized names in gold bullion, known for gold bars that have circulated in the retail and institutional markets for decades. Credit Suisse–branded bars were manufactured by Valcambi SA in Switzerland, an LBMA Good Delivery refiner, and carry the "CHI Essayeur Fondeur" hallmark, individual serial numbers, and tamper-evident assay packaging. Following UBS's acquisition of Credit Suisse in 2023, the brand's future in bullion remains in transition, but existing bars continue to trade actively.

For U.S. investors, Credit Suisse gold bars in 1 oz, 5 oz, 10 oz, and kilo sizes remain among the most liquid private-mint gold products on the secondary market. The brand recognition, Swiss provenance, and consistent quality make them straightforward to buy and sell through virtually any dealer. Silver bars under the Credit Suisse name are less common but do appear in the market. Premiums on Credit Suisse gold bars are typically competitive with other major Swiss-branded products.
