Retail bullion prices in the United States are among the lowest in the world. Premiums over spot on products like American Silver Eagles, gold bars, and silver bars and rounds are consistently lower than what buyers pay in Europe, Australia, or most of Asia. Even after factoring in the cost of international shipping, insurance, and any applicable customs duties, buying from a US-based online bullion dealer is often cheaper than purchasing domestically in many countries.
That price advantage drives a simple question: which online bullion dealers ship internationally?
The answer depends on the dealer, the destination, and the payment method. Some ship to dozens of countries with full checkout support. Others handle international orders only by phone or email. And several of the largest US dealers ship exclusively to domestic addresses. Here is how the major dealers tracked by FindBullionPrices.com break down.
Dealers With Full International Shipping Programs
These dealers support international checkout on their websites and ship to a broad list of countries. They handle customs documentation and offer insured delivery as standard.
Silver Gold Bull is headquartered in Calgary, Canada and operates separate storefronts for the US (.com) and Canada (.ca), along with localized sites for each of the 35 countries it ships to. As a Canadian company, Silver Gold Bull is a natural choice for Canadian buyers who want to avoid cross-border shipping entirely when ordering from the Canadian site. International buyers benefit from regional pricing, local payment options, and shipping rates calculated at checkout.
SD Bullion ships to more than 37 countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, most of the European Union, Japan, Singapore, Australia, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates. International orders are accepted via bank wire, credit card, or cryptocurrency through BitPay. Duties and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility, and SD Bullion charges a $75 re-processing fee if a shipment is refused at customs. Some products may be excluded from international orders.
APMEX maintains a dedicated international shipping program covering 33 countries. Details and requirements are listed on the APMEX international page. APMEX has been shipping overseas for years and has a well-established process for customs documentation and insured delivery.
BullionStar is based in Singapore and ships worldwide. BullionStar offers discounted shipping rates for buyers in the US, Canada, the EU, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, and Southeast Asia. Insurance runs 0.15% of the order value. For buyers who prefer not to take physical delivery, BullionStar also operates vault storage in Singapore and New Zealand.
Kitco, headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, ships to the US, Canada, and internationally. Domestic US and Canadian orders ship for $15 (free on orders over $5,000). International shipping starts at $135 and typically takes 5 to 10 business days. Kitco recommends contacting them by phone or email for an international shipping quote before placing large orders. Insurance is 0.65% of the metal value.
Golden State Mint ships to more than 35 countries across the EU, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, the UAE, Israel, and South Africa. International shipments go via USPS Priority Mail International or UPS, with rates quoted at checkout. The country list may change.
Dealers With Limited or Contact-Required International Shipping
These dealers will ship internationally, but the process is not fully automated through their website checkout. Buyers typically need to contact customer service to arrange the order.
Monument Metals ships international orders with a minimum of $1,000 USD. Their shipping page provides further details on rates and eligible countries.
BOLD Precious Metals ships internationally, but the online checkout currently only supports US-based shipping addresses. To place an international order, contact their customer service team by email. Payment for international orders is accepted via PayPal or wire transfer.

Canada-Only International Shipping
Money Metals Exchange supports US and Canadian shipping addresses at checkout. Buyers in other countries may need to contact them directly or use a US-based package forwarding service.
US-Only Dealers
Several popular online bullion dealers ship only to addresses within the United States. International buyers who want to purchase from these dealers will need to use a US-based package forwarding service — a company that provides a US mailing address, receives the shipment, and then forwards it to the buyer’s country.
JM Bullion ships only to US addresses, including PO Boxes and APO/FPO military addresses. JM Bullion’s subsidiaries, including Silver.com, follow the same policy.
Hero Bullion states on their FAQ that they currently only ship precious metals to addresses in the United States.
Bullion Exchanges does not ship any products outside of the United States.

PIMBEX Metals ships to the lower 48 states and Hawaii. They explicitly exclude Alaska, Minnesota, and all international destinations.
USAGOLD ships to US addresses only and requires a $1,000 minimum order.
What International Buyers Should Know
Buying bullion from a US dealer and having it shipped overseas is not complicated, but there are a few things worth understanding before placing an order.
Customs duties and taxes. Most countries impose import duties or value-added tax (VAT) on precious metals. In some countries, gold bars meeting certain fineness standards (typically .995 or higher) are exempt from VAT, while silver is taxed. The buyer is almost always responsible for these charges. They are collected at the border, not by the dealer.
Insurance. Reputable dealers insure international shipments, but the terms vary. Some include insurance in the shipping price; others charge a percentage of the order value (typically 0.15% to 0.65%). Ask about coverage limits and what happens if a package is lost or damaged in transit.
Payment methods. Many dealers restrict international orders to bank wire or cryptocurrency. Credit card acceptance for overseas orders varies. Wire transfers are generally preferred because they eliminate chargeback risk for the dealer and often qualify for lower product pricing.
Shipping times. Domestic US orders typically arrive in 3 to 7 business days. International shipments take 5 to 15 business days depending on the destination and carrier. Customs clearance can add additional time.
Package forwarding services. If the dealer you want to buy from does not ship internationally, a US-based package forwarding service can bridge the gap. These services provide a US mailing address, receive shipments on your behalf, and forward them to your country. Be aware that forwarding precious metals may complicate insurance claims if something goes wrong in transit, and some forwarding services restrict high-value shipments.
eBay as an Alternative
Many of the dealers listed above also sell through their eBay stores. eBay’s Global Shipping Program handles international delivery, customs forms, and import duties for a single upfront fee. This can simplify the process for international buyers, though premiums on eBay are sometimes higher than buying directly from the dealer’s website.
