Notable Illinois Coin Shows to Watch
Illinois Numismatic Association Convention
The Illinois Numismatic Association convention is the principal statewide association show remaining on the 2026 calendar. The convention runs September 17–19 in Countryside, with public hours beginning Thursday afternoon and continuing through Saturday.
ILNA serves collectors and clubs throughout Illinois, so the convention draws from beyond the Chicago area. Its Countryside location also puts it in the same suburban corridor as the recurring West Suburban Coin Show.
Great American Coin and Collectibles Show
The Great American Coin and Collectibles Show runs September 30 through October 3 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont. The event was established in 2024 and returns for its third year in 2026.
The organizer lists a large dealer bourse, dealer-to-dealer trading, other collecting categories, and Heritage Auctions as the official auctioneer. ANACS has also listed the show on its 2026 schedule. The Rosemont location near O’Hare makes it accessible to both local collectors and dealers traveling from outside Illinois.
Central States Numismatic Society Convention
The Central States Numismatic Society Convention remains a major fixture on the Illinois calendar even though the 2026 event has already passed. The 87th annual convention was held April 22–25 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center.
Because the event occurred before this forward-looking calendar begins, it is not listed among the remaining 2026 dates. CSNS has already scheduled its next Schaumburg convention for April 21–24, 2027.
West Suburban Coin Show
The West Suburban Coin Show is one of the most consistent recurring events in suburban Chicago. The remaining 2026 dates are September 13, October 11, November 8, and December 12–13.
The organizer lists show hours of 9–3, free admission, and up to 85 dealers. Its Countryside location makes it a regular option for collectors from Chicago, the western suburbs, and nearby parts of northern Illinois.
Orland Park Coin & Stamp Show
The Orland Park Coin & Stamp Show operates at the Orland Park Civic Center. Remaining 2026 dates are September 6, October 4, November 1, and December 6.
The show typically has 20 to 40 dealers, with an emphasis on U.S. coins and currency alongside world coins, stamps, and related collectibles.
Cicero-Berwyn Coin & Stamp Bourse
The Cicero-Berwyn show runs at Sokol-Tabor Hall in Berwyn. Remaining dates are September 20, October 18, November 15, and December 20.
The dealer mix extends beyond U.S. coins into foreign and ancient coins, tokens, medals, stamps, covers, and paper collectibles. The recurring schedule gives collectors west of Chicago another monthly option alongside the Countryside show.
Peotone Coin Show
The Peotone Coin Show at the Will County Fairgrounds serves collectors south of Chicago. Remaining dates are October 4 and December 20, with hours of 9–3.
Its location near Interstate 57 also makes it practical for collectors traveling from central Illinois who would rather avoid the Chicago suburbs.

Illinois Numismatic Association
The Illinois Numismatic Association is the statewide organization supporting coin clubs, collectors, educational programs, and the annual ILNA convention. Its September convention is one of the main statewide events on the fall calendar.
Central States Numismatic Society
Central States Numismatic Society is a regional organization covering a broad section of the Midwest. Its annual convention has become closely associated with Schaumburg, where the 2026 and 2027 conventions are scheduled.
Elgin Coin Club
The Elgin Coin Club serves collectors in the northwest Chicago suburbs and hosts an annual club show. Its March 2026 show has already passed, so it is not included in the remaining calendar.
Champaign-Urbana Coin & Currency Club
The Champaign-Urbana Coin & Currency Club serves collectors in east-central Illinois. Its annual show is scheduled for November 1, 2026 at Lincoln Square Mall in Urbana.
Metro East Coin & Currency Club
The Metro East Coin & Currency Club serves collectors in southwestern Illinois near St. Louis. Its October 4 show in Collinsville extends the calendar well beyond the Chicago metropolitan area.
